Facilities
The SRVRWP provides recycled water through a system consisting of transmission lines, pump stations, and storage facilities to DSRSD and EBMUD for distribution by them to landscape irrigation water customers. The major facilities include seven pump stations, five reservoirs, and approximately 70 miles of transmission and distribution pipelines. Facilities for filtration and disinfection of the wastewater prior to its introduction into the recycled water system are located at the DSRSD wastewater treatment plant.
